ABOUT US

A native of Croatia, Miro Lucic began playing tennis at age four.  He attended the prestigious Bollettieri Tennis Academy in Florida as a junior tennis player where he competed in the Eddy Herr tournament and worked with some of the world’s best coaches as well as trained with top-ranked Australian pro, Bernard Tomic.

Miro was a traveling pro on the WTA tour with his sister, Mirjana Lucic (Australian Open Doubles Grand Slam champion with Martina Hingis and Wimbledon singles semi finalist). In 2010, he coached and assisted Mirjana in her comeback resulting in her first tournament title in 10 years.

Miro competed in the 2011 Connecticut Public Parks Tennis Championship as well as the Stamford Open with Mischka, and they won the mixed doubles title in both tournaments.

This year marks Miro's sixth season with the Rowayton Tennis Association, and in this time he has excelled from the assistant coach to the Director of the program. He is a USPTA certified tennis professional who is committed to excellence and to helping his clients advance their game and reach their potential. He and his experienced staff have taught all ages and levels and are excited to share their passion for the game with adults and kids alike.  Miro loves the unique Rowayton community and hopes to be a fixture on the Rowayton tennis scene for many years to come.
